We are finally starting to see some cooler weather in Nashville. The fall season seems to have finally arrived, and we hope it's here to stay at least for a while. Take advantage of the cooler weather and check out what's going on in Wedgewood/Houston!
A Houston Station Community favorite, Clawson's Pub & Deli, was featured in this month's NATIVE Magazine. Located in the Track One building, it is owned and operated by married couple Ann and Jens Clawson. They offer an amazing menu of specially crafted sandwiches made with locally sourced products. If you are a new customer, we urge you to try one of our favorites: #1 (try it toasted!), #9 (the Clawson's take on a grilled cheese), or #14 (dare to be different, and make your own!). In addition to sandwiches, they offer a great selection of beer, some delicious sides, and an incredible, friendly atmosphere. Try all of their sandwich offerings and earn your Clawson's Cadet Badge (which we hear gets you free beer!).
Another Houston Station Community favorite, Dozen Bakery, is also a great stop. Now serving breakfast, we highly suggest their breakfast egg sandwich (get adventurous and add avocado or bacon!) and a coffee to go (Crema, anyone?). They also serve up a delicious lunch menu and even more delicious pastries. If you have some free time, you can stop by its two neighboring art galleries: David Lusk and Zeitgeist.
We hope you enjoy some of our favorite hangs, and encourage you to stop by Houston Station to do a little exploring to work off those delicious meals!
