Gothic Circus

A lot has been happing in Houston Station in the past weeks. There are so many benefits to being surrounded by art, events, and music.

This weekend, abrasiveMedia hosted alumni resident artist Jacob Gregory's directorial debut, Gothic Circus. Tickets sold out more than a week before the show! Luckily, Houston Station Community members got a sneak peek of the setup during the day, and some were lucky enough to get the chance to attend.

An evening of physical theater and the human body as art.

The audience will enjoy watching awe-inspiring aerialists, precision juggling, burlesque dancers and graceful acrobatics— blended into narratives, creating a dramatic, sophisticated mash-up of theater, live performances and the body as art.

In addition to the Gothic Circus, other events were hosted at Houston Station. Make sure to check out Refinery Nashville's website for updates on their events in their main space and in the Refinery Classroom.

Events Nashville hosted a 4-event weekend last weekend (October 15-18), including one corporate event and three weddings. This past weekend, they also hosted two more weddings (October 23-24).
