Coming soon to our very own Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood is St. Roch Nashville, a southern food hall curated by Will Donaldson and Barre Tanguis. This is their second location for this concept, the first being St. Roch Market, located in New Orleans. St. Roch Market is a southern food hall featuring a diverse lineup of food and beverage purveyors. Open daily, St. Roch Market offers a unique dining experience along with great shopping and an excellent craft cocktail bar. For entrepreneurs, the Market represents the ultimate platform to grow a food brand and build consumer exposure. St. Roch Nashville will be located down the street from Houston Station in the historic former Mays Hosiery Mill property at 431 Chestnut Street. It is due to open in 2017.
At roughly 8,000 square feet, St. Roch Nashville will house about 10 food vendors. Staple tenants will likely include a cocktail bar, retail wine sales, an oyster bar, a produce stall, a bakery and a coffee shop. Donaldson and Tanguis are in the process of meeting with different local chefs and food purveyors, who would pay a leasing fee for space at the food hall. - The Tennessean
