On Monday, April 18, Houston Station was the location for The Land Trust's Appreciation Dinner for honoree Jeanie Nelson. The Land Trust for Tennessee is an accredited, statewide 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1999. Their mission is to conserve the unique character of Tennessee's natural and historic landscapes and sites for future generations. They have protected over 100,000 acres of public and private land by working with communities, partner organizations, and private landowners to ensure that we have open spaces forever.
The Land Trust's Appreciation Dinner launched the presentation of the Jeanie Nelson Conservation Legacy Fund. Attendees were treated to a cocktail hour, seated dinner, and a full program in honor of Jeanie Nelson.
